Since the Eastland Disaster, how have boating regulations changed?
During the year of the Eastland Disaster, boating inspections were not neccessary which is part of the reason the boat tipped to its side so have boating regulations (such as passenger capacity, safety equipment, ship material, etc) changed since then? were they changed because of the incident?

Boaters I Need Help With Question About Boating License?

In (South) Florida, what is the difference, if any, between getting a certification of completion of a boater safety course and getting your boaters license? And if there is a difference, other than insurance and possible discounts when purchasing a boat, what is the purpose of the boater safety course? Thanks!!

Question About Nj Boat Safety Certificate?

I heard you need to posess a NJ boat safety certificate to operate ANY boat 12′ or longer. I was wondering if all of you have this already. And also do the park rangers check for this while you’re fishing? Any one had an encounter? Thanks.
